The other day, I braided Charlotte's hair in a fancy crown-type braid. As she was running around playing, it started falling apart, of course. My mom commented to her, "Oh, Charlotte! Your pretty braid is coming undone." Charlotte just smiled and said, "That's okay. I'm still me."
I'm so proud of her. I know the world "attacks" all of our kids, but I hope that she can still carry in her heart the knowledge that no matter what the world sees or how the world treats her, she is special and amazing and wonderful.

That is awesome!! I hope she carries that attitude through her teen years and pimples, then aging and wrinkles :)
